The Fall BBQ is Back by popular demand! In lieu of our monthly membership meeting, we will have a Saturday BBQ, catered by Mission Barbecue on October 12th! Come and join us for Food, Fun, Games and Contests!

About the Event
The annual cookout will be catered by Mission BBQ. The cost will be covered by the ABA, however, we are asking for a $5.00 donation (per person) which will be going to the "Hives for Heroes" Program. This Program is a national non-profit service organization focusing on sustainability, conservation, and providing a healthy transition from service.
Theres much more than delicious food! Come prepared for the smoker lighting contest, honey show, and bee dessert contest! The smoker lighting rules will be explained at the BBQ. The honey show is our annual honey contest for the North Florida Fair. Bring your honey for competition in a 1 pound, glass, queenline jar. The honey judging will be based on taste, clarity, and moisture content. If you wish, bring a dessert that is honey themed or bee themed (or a combination) to enter into the dessert contest. Prizes will be given to the best tasting and the best themed dessert.
