Good day in the JeffCo bees with Capt. Tony

We made splits and moved all but one deep into the new ABA woodenware. The plan is to come back in a couple of weeks and split the double deeps into singles and add queen cells. Still planning to expand the fence by another 16’ panel for more room.

With the cooler weather this am the bees weren’t happy to see us when we started at 9 but we were gloved up and ready. Only smelled the banana extract (alarm pheromone) from one hive
